Takeuchi light

Hi I’ve got a Takeuchi TB153FR
I have a light on the boom and on the cab itself
So the light on the boom, when I received the Digger the light wires were just hanging. So I am trying to reconnect it but I only found one wire travelling up the boom if it makes any difference the wire is blue and white.
Anyone got any ideas whether the Earth is the body or whether I need to find another wire from somewhere

Just some more information:
The single wire is in a sheath. It is cable tied to the boom on a metal pipe and as it goes around the linkage it’s in a protective wire cowling (type of thing)
I can’t see any other signs of the other wire if there is one?
I assumed it should be in the same cowling no?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It would be better to check if you get power to that wire when the light switch is on, then yes use the machine body as earth!
