I too sell hydraulic attachments down south specialising in hydraulic breakers as most of you know.. There shouldn't be any excuse for not getting back to your customer same day with at least a progress report.
If you struggle with any attachment supplies, give us a go, we love your business

Glad it’s not just me,
Nearly two weeks ago emailed local(literally next door) haulage company for some transport prices, even rung transport manager direct and still have no prices, so sod them!
Local big plant/transport comp got back to me within minutes! (Bloody expensive mind!)

Most other companies I deal with are pretty good to be fair, else I won’t use them 🤷‍♂️

I'm waiting for prices back for attachments which aren't coming by the looks of it,
Also pricing a few jobs up probably 100k of materials that merchants don't want to sell you.
There's a local steel/engineering supplier that you ring a bell on the counter when you arrive to get served, you can see 10/20 blokes through the door window trying to look busy to save serving . Drives you mad!
Can see why nothing gets done and takes so long!

local builders merchants is like that ... like the Marie Celeste ... every one trying to look busy, rather than do summat ... like serve a customer.
Always serve myself, when i go in there and if challenged it's "well no other ****er was going to do it" ..... once left 10, hundred weight bags of cement in the middle of their yard ..... couldn't find anyone to be bothered to book it out, so off loaded it and left for elsewhere. ..... and they're the dearest in the area  ..... dunno how they survive .... other than having a large stock of most things :sneaky:
