Hi my old digger stopped got the fuel pump reconned timed everything engine starts instantly revs but as soon as you pull a lever it kills the engine!
I've tried everything I can think of new feed pipe from fuel tank clean filter.
Had the pump rechecked timed the engine 8 times.its a Mitsubishi engine
Any thoughts

Thinking more the opposite, no spring control of the rack, so not able to push the rack to the governor to start with, but yes also the governor could be seized up so the pump can’t give fuel under load.

The timing cover would need to come off to check governor movement is free!
