which systems which machinery used to stone collect rocks and stones emerging from the ground to select the aggregates, the usual method of farmers with fork rakes or used machinery, buckets and special sieves. thank you

Lol opencast reclamation up north east used to be two blokes in tractor loader bucket slowly driven across newly backfilled dig,till driver dropped bucket for craic n cover the lads in bucket in dust.....wouldn't be allowed now

We`ve used an old 2 row potato elevator before now, picked up cheap from a farm sale, with a loader bucket following behind to catch the stones coming off the end.
Not the quickest, but better than bending over and picking by hand.

Used a stone burier on the last job , on a little 40hp tractor, did a really good job, gave me about 4” of nice topsoil and all the stone sent down, seeded with a ride on blec 👍🏼

thank you, there are no stone pickers from us. or dig potatoes, I think we will have to plow and then harvest, a friend of mine advised me to use the excavator. thanks anyway . I hope all is well from you, let me know. thank you
