Stolen excavator tracker

Evening all.

I want to fit a tracker to my 3 ton excavator i just purchased brand new.

I've seen the Automatrics mtrack videos on YouTube where say an excavator is stolen then this chap from Automatrics drives around looking for the excavator after the excavator gives an initial GPS, GSM movement alarm so they know the approximate area its in, thats until the thieves get the digger to say underground storage or a shipping container.

However the S7 trackers have VHF anti-jamming technology and anti-jamming GPS, GSM technology, so even if its buried they can still find it through VHF if the GSM, GPS isn't available....it shows this in many of the Automatrics video's.

The chap from the company basically gets a GPS GSM movement alert from the head office and he go's driving tracking it.

He seem to use this small
TV Arial and a small cigarette size box that bleeps with lights to tell him if he's getting closer.

He then uses a drone to scan the area from the air to see if he can see it.
When he does find it via a within 3 metre alert or the drone he then calls the police.
See here of what I mean.

Anyway my question is that does anyone know where you can buy a S7 Tracker and a tracker locator as the locator seems quite a simple looking box.
I know you can pay to get one fitted plus a subscription at approximately £1000 for the best one but to be honest I would rather be the one that gets the movement alarm and sets off to track it as I'm also a qualified CAA approved drone operator and a wizard with electronics and technical things.

My concern is that if my excavator is stolen and the tracker companies employee/tracker bloke is 100 miles away he's not hot on their heels as he's got quite a drive, also what if a movement alarm goes off at 3.00am? Do they go out in the dead of night or is it in the morning when the excavator could be on a container bound for Europe or further away.

So to summarise I would like to be the one that goes off at a minutes notice once movement alarm goes off searching for it then alert the police once I roughly know where it is.

To be honest and worth mentioning....how many plant recovery failures do Automatrics Mtrack or the other tracker firms have?....because they are hardly going to put those video's on YouTube.

So to confirm, I'm hoping someone will know where I can buy a anti-jamming VHF tracker and tracker locator.

Thanks
John

Very much doubt they sell or give info on the vhf tracker device as then thats a tool for thieves to find trackers etc

I think you can have auto metrics notify you as well

Simple soloution. Fit a standard cheap hardwired tracker in that you control- hopefully if they scan for it this will be the one they find! Also hide the automatrics one somewhere.

they are not £1000, i think we paid £300.

The way it works is you can get a remote control to 'arm it', if it moved when armed you get a call day or night to see if its genuine or not. The calls happen quick as well.

You dont need to have a detector as they go hunt it down for you.

You get discount from NFU if you have one also as they are one of the only recognised approved tracker.
