Steel wrist, leak fixed, building down.

I'm testing Volvo ECR-40d with a Steel wrist x04 tilt-rotate and the control system. You press one of the "many" lol buttons on the joystick and it activates. After that the right joystick pointer finger roller(jpfr??) controls fwd/reverse/speed and the left pointer finger roller turns the machine. Max speed is a slow creeeeep I really like it for working and digging/smoothing at the same time vs foot pedals.

Right thumb roller does tilt and left does rotate. When the grabber is on lpfr opens closes the grapple.

I'm really liking it. Here are some pictures of me wandering around their yard.

I didn't take any pictures of the house sized dump trucks.

Very nice little machine the biggest advantage of the steelwrist setup is you can change everything from the little screen in the cab once you know how to dive into the secret settings.
I've not tried the joystick tracking but I'd be surprised if it couldn't be as fast as tracking with the pedals.

Was playing around with Mr Fancy pants and noticed some drippage. This appears to be the culprit. The filter/valve/thingamagig? with the 32mm head. I was able to rotate the 32mm head with my barehand, it didn't ever tighten....

Any ideas on what to try next? Right now it's still a usable leak for what I need to do and don't what to start a gusher

I've been at the job solo. Tomorrow Ill be able to get someone to operate the grab while I watch. Was disappointed I couldn't find and diagrams online.
The machine had 210hrs on it, if the x04 only has 210hrs its the hardest I've ever seen. lol

The tilting and rotating is sweet but the loss of breakout force is bitter

That is possible.... with the machine idling a drip was coming from where I was talking about, with full clamp force it might be blasting out...

I messed with the touch screen and could find max speed adjustment for rotate and tilt, but not track speed. It's probably in there somewhere.

Press and hold in the middle between the buttons on the home screen then you can go deeper doing it again but be careful about what you touch in there it's possible to get into quite a mess

Not bad for one man in one day I really wish the grabber had overlapping fingers instead of two edges that butt together I fixed the leak by tightening down the cannister. The 32mm socket sized cap was plastic and covered some kinda pressure release valve or maybe something to adjust clamp force, I'm not sure.
That 30yd3 bin is stuffed. It'll be interesting to see what it weighs.. I have a video of the pics are missing from the sequence.

There is a old failed septic drain/leech field that runs right under it. The building left standing is the neighbors property. This was added on at a later date and attached to it....
The ground under the rear block wall had dropped maybe 8" and much of the wood was hollow or gone from termites and carpenter bees. Next I'm going to dig up the old drain lines, replace will fill dirt, then prep for a concrete pad and steel building.
It probably would have stood for a few more years but I wouldn't have put anything I cared about under it. This neighbor is kinda crazy so they were happy to be "disconnected" just for peace of mind, but it made for more pressure than normal when knocking it down. Here is a link to the video. The steelwrist and grapple felt pretty darn heavy and tippy at any sort of reach.

It could have been saved but they want somewhere to keep a computerized plasma cutting table and fabrication stuff in proper conditions.
