hi i have a sany sy16 that the starter motor clicks when trying to start but when i put a booster on the battery it will start straight away, fitted new battery but still the same

Try the battery connections make sure they are good . Try starter connections to make sure they are good . Check battery voltage if you have a meter to make sure the new battery isn’t a dud .

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
check all your earths too - particularly the engine to chassis lead ... are you putting the booster on the battery poles or putting the earth direct to chassis/engine block ?
