hello sorry if I disturb, on the net I have seen some of these telehandlers 7 meter arm with 2.5 ton capacity perkins engine, what do you think of this machinery, still reliable or part of the museum? you would buy a used one or you would take a different model and brand, perhaps more recent. thanks sorry for the inconvenience.

The Sanderson RTFL’s were good in their day. Not much to go wrong. An agricultural contractor I worked for had one for loading Heston bales. The disadvantage was that the downward facing exhaust and straw didn’t mix and one fine day it went up in smoke. The chap driving it opened the engine cover and forked straw into it to make sure it burnt out properly so he could get to drive the new JCB 520 we’d just got.

I operated one for a bit prior to the joystick . It was pretty good and that was alongside a jcb 520-4.
You’d be better with a jcb for spares etc so if you go for it the price should reflect it’s not a jcb .
The mogs point is a fair one but he’d soon convert it to 2 forward backward levers to do the job if he owned it !

Matbro sold to terex who then sold the design to John Deere
They were good machines in there time. Still quite popular and I know of quite a few farms still running them
