Rubber sheet

We get second hand rubber sheet from some jobs. Very high quality self healing pure rubber, approximately 5m x 1.5m x 3mm. We replace this with new (about £250 per sheet).
It has had bullets pass through it. Some like the sheet in the picture has minimal damage, some has a hole cut out about 30cm round depending on number and type of bullets fired at it.
We've lined pickups, made funnels for our sieves and other small uses, but have run out of ideas. We get about 30 sheets a year.
Does anyone have any ideas or uses for it? Apart from the perverts.

Do you think it would hold a 3 ton machine up on a lawn... id think 3mm would be abit light for that.

on a side note is that a shifta sieve in you picture? Used to have one of them things in my yard at work till another depot asked for it was nothing but trouble for us one who we had it on high too must have used it like a wrecking ball the damage that was done. Do you use the mace shifta conveyors as well with it? i have 4 sitting in my yard at the moment that need a complete strip down and rebuild as they got shot rollers bent frames and one even has a split motor unit

Yes it is a shifta. I have found it very good, but as i’m paying I tend to look after it. Also got two conveyors.
If you can’t operate a machine, or don’t care it would be easy to wreck it, especially if using a toothed bucket.

when they are 100% they are a great hire for us but is when they come back that we get the problems the guys who wrecked the shifta sieve had it on hire from us though a 3rd party and just didnt care when i was sent to collect it it only had one wheel and had to be lifted on the truck. The conveyors that need work have been on hire to a major customer of ours who i think you deal with begins with a K and they have a clause in there contract where s the repair is under a set amount then they dont have to pay for it so get no end of equipment come back off hire shagged as they know it will get written off

Think they have already added it on there version not ours lol can be annoying as hell when it come to just under there limit or you due to the cost you just get a sod it bin it is not worth the hassle
