Hi I’m not to good on these sites . I was on this site back last year asking about my telex hd1000 it still not working goes back and forwards , steering is like rock to turn , won’t lit or tip . A guy on hear sent me a message to say turn steering right hand lock and try the tip button . So I been going round in a circle and yes it starts to lift but very slow and as soon as you take it out of forward it goes down but still holding the lift button in . It will only go forward and back once the engine is hot any ideas guys thanks bob

Not totally familiar with that specific model, but it may be associated with a hydraulic oil starvation problem. First check the oil level in the tank and top up as required with the correct grade of oil. Make sure that the oil supply pipe to the pump hasn’t become restricted in some way. I once had a problem where a stone had got picked up and got jammed against the supply pipe which caused a restriction. Make sure the by pass valve on the control valve is not stuck open or got a broken or damaged spring. Check the filter is clean. I think it will be on the return side of the pump. Make sure the hydraulic pump is running ok. You usually can feel the pump operating by putting your hand on it. If it is running very hot then you have a restriction somewhere. One last thought. Make sure the tank breather is not blocked. You can easily check this by slacken in the hydraulic tank filler cap. Good luck and always check the simple things first.
