Rabbit Pump

Anyone tried one of these? We spend a lot of life moving Kero around on jobs (and occasionally water). The Milwaukee Cordless pump has been brilliant, but I quite like the idea of a stick pump. Look quite expensive though in comparision.

I think the plumber I have been working with uses a mains powered diesel transfer pump to pump out the kero tanks , I will find out on Monday as I am doing a tank base for him.

Yes we use 230v puisi or Li.On pumps for transfers. Ours run at 100-120lpm (in reality a lot less) We have built various rigs over the years with in built hose reels and filtration, all quite big beefy units. We use a Milwaukee M18 pump for tank dewatering jobs (sucking off the bottom) of about 50-100 litres into cans by a solo worker and its great. I have got a dewalt chinesium version that I am building into a dewatering rig with oil/water separation. A stick pump with 5m of decent 3/4" hose could be a useful tool for topping up a temporary supply tank from 25l drums (for example) by one person. Also for solo refuelling of vehicles from 25l cans with no priming. I have a refuelling trolley with a 12v pump and meter but its horribly loud and loves to stall with the slightest drop of air.
