Cant complain work wise.....booked up till March/April next year with a couple of months of enquiries floating about on top of that.

Not many will wait any longer so that's about our limit.

all good here but noticing a very big difference in phone calls. 10 calls a day normally is now 6, 4 of which are offering machines for sale, 2 are buying. That said we are still doing ok

agreed Jim ... it's just that it's so bloody random is the biggest problem I think ... HTF do you dodge a bullet from a gun you can't see and could be ANYWHERE!!

What area is that Danny? Did the work get postponed due to corona?

£25k concrete pad and 200+ m trenching and reinstatement - members of staff furloughed and not wanting to spend money until theyve recouped some lost revenue
£2k archaeology work - university team are all furloughed rebooked for next year now
£1k trial hole work - postponed until further notice
etc

We are keeping busy enough, but when youve forecasted to be doing this work now its abit of a hit.

My Dynamic of work has changed Over the last few years, now focusing on our own property development oppose to looking for work.. phone still rings from contacts who haven’t used me for 5+ years - checking to see if I’m back doing general hire etc! Got a decent job booked in for when we finish our current project. Plus planning app in to convert another barn, Touch wood that goes through, will keep quite afew people in work if it goes (looking doubtful atm!!)

Just a driver,plenty work on,£19/20 hr,currently staying london,been on hs2,couple sites,just finished water pipeline topsoil n finishing off today,hs2 induction again Monday,then rail work on the job,shares going great,another six month off coming up

No mate I'm living with girl friend down here,my house is up north near Durham, not many pay lodge worth staying out for now,especially down here
Lol six month cos four week holiday a year not enough,even before Corona,I'd started working to live,plus made good money on rail job when it was there,not worth chasing now,used money from redundancy last year to get into shares,wanted another income stream,been lucky,upto now lol
