What did you get for it?It only got to £2500Not sure if there was a reserve or not
Is that 14ft? Looks shorter.. kinda wish I'd gone for a beavertail but didn't want to go longer than 12ft for my needs
£3100+vat in March auction. Everything seems slower this time. The Dolav boxes were back and they were all going for about 20% less than last time (£90 for 3) Missed them thoughWhat did you get for it?
Tri axle trailers just look so much nicerMy Bateson turned up today. Main use is for towing the dumper so went with Tri axle because find it noddy on the dual ifor. Unusual to have a Tri at 12ft but the way i see it for the extra 100kg your getting another braked axle so never going to overload your axles and on these pot hole infested roads it just glides, and strapping points and ramps are also lovely compared to the old LM, really well put together![]()

Do you want me to tell you about the bridges around here? Are you sure a 14ft wouldn't have been better ?![]()
You’ll be able to tow the dumper fully loaded with that - I reckon it’s probably good for 12 tonnes gross! My Bateson turned up today. Still think a mesh hinged ramp better, I hate pissing about with separate ramps. BTW - how long are those ramps? Look more like 10ft than 8ft? Its a lovely looking trailer. Hope you are happy with it.Do you want me to tell you about the bridges around here?
Hinged ramps limit the trailer’s versatility though unfortunately.Still think a mesh hinged ramp better, I hate pissing about with separate ramps. BTW - how long are those ramps? Look more like 10ft than 8ft? Its a lovely looking trailer. Hope you are happy with it.
I have a used (cheap) one to fit to my LM166 but haven't got around to fitting it yet. I think it wont limit me too much on a trailer that length as any 6m lengths can go up the ladder rack.Hinged ramps limit the trailer’s versatility though unfortunately.
Yeah a one piece ramp would always be easier than individuals, but drop down ramps aren't always perfect either especially if loading on undulating ground. They're 8ft ramps but so much easier to pull out then the ifor. This one has a leaver that pulls a gas strutted dampener down on to the ramp to stop them sliding out and stops them rattling- can't hear a pip squeak behind you with this trailer! Also like the fact that the axles are all galvanised too.Still think a mesh hinged ramp better, I hate pissing about with separate ramps. BTW - how long are those ramps? Look more like 10ft than 8ft? I put the old 8ft steel ramps back in under my new trailer recently. It really made it MUCH louder. Then I put the drop sides on. You can hear me coming now :-(Yeah a one piece ramp would always be easier than individuals, but drop down ramps aren't always perfect either especially if loading on undulating ground.
