I’ve got an idea on how to make my registered plant look younger .
Plan A was to upgrade for new stuff that’s definitely not happening
Plan B was to upgrade to newer used stuff .
That’s not happening either so it’s on to plan C
I’m going to buy some paint and touch it up then I want to put private reg numbers on them .

I thought this couldn’t be done but I saw a doosan duck with duk in the reg and that can’t just be a coincidence .
Anyone know if it can be done ?

It can't be done as far as I last knew.

Rob Taylor has duk on his number plate but I believe that was assigned to it when it was new and cannot be transfered so will stay with the machine forever

don't think you can do bikes either ... never seen a bike with a 'cherished' plate ...... can do cranes though

private plates put on a business vehicle are tax deductible as an intangible asset!

Tax relief for intangible assets is spread over the number of years that the asset is expected to be useful in your business, which is usually between 5 and 20 years. This matches the treatment in company accounts where the asset has to be amortised (written down in value) over time.

Just keep it clean and tidy and let the quality of your work speak for itself.


(I'm too lazy for that though, so I just buy new and trade in every few years )

But seriously, focus on working them and making money during this boom. THere may be plenty of (down)time for tarting up in the coming year, who knows?
