Permanent live for radio

Replaced radio in machine with new one.

checked for live & permanent live when installing all good, After plugging in the radio the permanent live stop working when ignition off,

Now only got two live wires when ignition on??

Checked fuses but have no idea after that why?

Check the adapter

Best guess is both of your "live's" connect to the same connector on the adapter.
You'll need to find the "permanent live" on the original connector and wire that to the correct output of your adapter.

Yes I’ve taken adapters off & testing wires direct from main loom

Usually one fixed fused live, and an ignition live.

Rather than that check the continuity between each end of the adapter to make sure the adapter is wired correctly

Quite common for adaptors to swap lives around or pair them up, often got bullet connections so you can swap them around yourself.

That what I would check some put both together for some reason
