Old road becomes new road at 68 degrees latitude.

The old road's southbound lane went straight where the machine is standing but the northbound lane went to the right of the machine and has now been dug up and blasted away. The temporary road is visible on the far right. The old road went over a ridge due to solid rock beneath the road. The new road will be straight.

My red work truck is parked on the old road.

There are plenty of pebbles here too.
