Oil filters ect

My stock of oil filters, derv filters and air filters is getting low.

I've always used genuine filters but the recent price I've had I think I'm going to use aftermarket ones.

The 3 bobcat/doosan minis all will be due shortly. They all use the same filters. So my question is.....any recommendations on which filters to get or where from?

In my experience you don’t get filters much cheaper than genuine doosan, I keep all my doosans on genuine. The Cats and volvos and hydremas they all get fleet guard. Local motor/hgv factors called Dingbro supply them for me.

My doosan dealers are absolutely useless in the parts department. Also with the little doosan machines they are bobcat filters which must confuse them even more

who’s your dealer? I deal with James Gordon they cover from centre belt of Scotland down to north of England.

10 / 40 semi synthetic from the local motor factors. Used in all my plant and the older vehicles.

Bobcat of London have me a shed load of 10w30...put it this way from early 2016 I've only just ran out.

Rest of stuff has been ran on 15w40 cat oil. Except for one that's ran semi synthetic since new.

I've plenty of cats 15w40 and that goes in a few things with kubota so I was contemplating putting that in them aswell.

Rico filters we get most from, not had any issues really. I mean the dealer pricing on some genuine filters is eye watering in comparison. I know you may say you get what you pay for but they all have to be to a standard and I’m 10000% certain there’s probably only a few filter manufactures, the rest is just different names on them

Deffo. Bobcat don't make their engines do they? Same for a lot of brands. Even if they did, I'd sooner a compatiable part from a company who specialise in filtration.

It'll be fine mate, unless some of your machines are more complicated common rail engines needing things like low SAPS oil.

Coopers Filters had a big manufacturing base in Abergavenny and sold out to Sogeffi .. then moved to bigger premises 10 miles up the road .... all sorts of different labels came out of their place as well as their own branded stuff.

used to do a lot of work for Coopers and bought a few bits of gear from the site when they moved. Site was bought by a 'well known' developer locally who seemed to specialise in 'problem sites'.
the 'old' main building there was grade 2* listed .. had a unique suspended/flying truss roof.

couldn't get demo consent.
can't recall the year but christmas eve, the trucks rolled in with a fleet of kit and by boxing morning was all on the floor ... pulled an all nighter x 2 - council all on holiday .... was hell to play, but too late when it was flat packed .. got fined, but a drop in the ocean compared to what it sold for ..... for this .......

bloke has done the same thing again in several places around here .. he likes to work over Christmas
