Anyone know the thread size for the fitting for the water suppression, the threaded part that goes into the blade cover
would imagine BSP if it's water fitting - 1/4" or 3/8" at a guess, but have no idea, never having seen said toolAnyone know the thread size for the fitting for the water suppression, the threaded part that goes into the blade cover

1/2" BSP or 1/2" bore hose fitting Giles -- 1/2" BSP is pushing 7/8 of an inch in diameter at the threadMines at the yard but I’m sure it’s 1/2 bsp
View attachment 70152came out pretty good in the end, had to use a bare hacksaw blade to cut the old fitting in two places as not enough meat to grip it properly
Yeah it's got the tank, it's not my saw borrowed it off a mate. Had 60 odd metres of 200mm tarmac to cut, hose saves arsing around having to keep filling the tankDo you not have the big tank on top?

Easiest option as couldn't get any fittings that I needed in Screwfix and didn't have time to run around. Hose was a decent job as was cutting 1.5m x 1.5m holesWe just stick the hose in the tank leave it running
