Penetrating oil - socket and bar ?

Can't get a socket and bar on them from memory. Open end spanner job. Really difficult to access at the best of times

I'm pretty sure i got a socket in there when I tensioned mine

maybe it's full of compacted tish, not allowing enough room for a socket .... have a poke about in there with 'a sharp stick'/bar/air chisel/jack hammer @Ron, 'til you are confident the area is empty/clear of crap

I have had a half inch drive ratchet socket on the bolt lots of spray, 6 foot scaffold pole and my halfords half inch ratchet blown apart and left me thinking I need a 3/4 drive bar no ratchet or anyone ever used inductance coils See pic

I don't think the inductance coil would get the heat where it needs to be- on the thread. Be easy enough to get a blowtorch with some MAPP gas and try that, although you'll be there a while! Also try a 'freezing' type penetrating spray.

Yeah you can get a sodding socket in ...could in my 8014 my 2006 (ish) anyway

That's different to the 2015 model there is no lock nut for a start but at least it's quite clear to get some heat in there

Had closer look, the nut is welded to the other
side of the bulkhead so the heat needs to be
on the nut which means taking off the tracks
and rollers to get heat onto the nut. The head
of the bolt is a slack 30mm socket but there is
a pin through the head ? Why ? I'm not happy
that the socket is only on half of the head of
the bolt? Need advice please. Ta

Soak with penetrating oil first and leave it to be well soaked in. Then if you can get enough heat pointing at that plate it should start to move
The penetrating oil will burn off and help loosen it up in my experience

Pin through head stops it rotating when cover is back on iirc

that would be my take on that too ... will be a right bar steward to get out
