Looks an interesting idea not sure if it’s easier to produce than the usual sheep’s foot drum type or how it’d work in soft soils etc

Just seen that think any wet clay would get up between every ring and jam them together then cake up around the whole thing

Works very well in stony ground and with type 1, not sure on clay yet. weighs 250kg as it is so quite a lump.
