Hi accidentally found this https://www.bemlindia.in/writereaddata/Downloads/20170905055550BD50.pdf - seems they offer it as a direct drive or full hystat, otherwise identical, interesting to see the relative costs of the two systems. Think it based on older Komatsu. The DD has an oil main clutch - but all the rest dry. Blades offered straight or angle. Perhaps the last maker of a direct drive crawler. Dressta was based on a mixture of IH & Kom tech - but now gone hystat in the small units. (Owned by Luigong - China) The Indian machine's viability would depend on its metallurgy - are certain key parts hardened
Also this site of interest - tips on best slot dozing technique - says start two tractor lengths behind the fill area, as this plenty to win out a full blade load. Dispose of this forward - then back up in the slot till a second two tractor lengths behind the start of first cut - seems to make much sense.

Was really looking into the drawbar pull per inch width of blade / bucket needed to be a serious machine - usually about 100 Lb per inch of blade, with 80 as a minimum (Clark Airborne, Mitsubishi BD2) in other words what is & is not a toy machine.
