To be honest manitou was going to be my next port of call regarding a new telehandler, I want joystick controls on the next one and JCB won’t do it on the 10.5 meter for some unbeknown reason!

This has been ok but boy do I miss the drop down legs to level up!!

Your experience with Manitou varies considerably from mine. Lovely until the electronics play up.

To be fair the ones I experience are either pre 2010 with reasonably few electrics or new and replaced every 3-5 years. The brand new ones are extremely electric heavy, although that said JCBs and anything else are too.
JCBs seem to outlast others if they make it past a few thousand hours..... But getting them to a few thousand can be a proper struggle. I know of a 2015ish JCB 541 that randomly decides it's not going to start.
In regards to the multifarmer, it'd handle your topper fine but any off-road trailer application will be a waste of time.

I think everything after teir 4 is completely reliant on electronics, finest problem and it’s straight into limp mode or just doesn’t work!
@JD450A my telehandler did that once, it was the earth strap under the cab which had come loose, but depending on how the machine sat it shoved the cab down onto it and made the circuit, a common problem apparently!
Think I’ll stick with current setup, which works nicely in fairness, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it and all that!
