Leaky Hitch

I just noticed on our rubber duck alot of hyd residue around the bucket area, but the hitch looks fine, and i can’t work out where it’s coming from. It’s a hill hitch. Has anyone had this before?

Just looked and no it looks proper dry

Have just steam cleaned it all off so going to have a proper look once it drys

Its of out on a job tomorrow for a day so i will get the operator to keep an eye on it as i steam cleaned it all of and couldnt work out where it was coming from

leaking on releasing ... check valve will prevent it until release is activated?

Pipe fittings or o rings going into the block on the hitch. Ours is a twat for it

When it’s back at the yard steam it off, then dangle it from the bottom pin, tying the tipping link out of the way. Activate the unhitch procedure a few times with someone watching.

Mine was badly crimped thermoplastic pipes. Very intermittent and a real head scratcher.

How did you get on with the hitch? I have a whole secondhand hitch very loose on bucket pins but working no leaks!
