kubota kx36-2 help fuel system

hello ive got fuel issues on my digger. i replaced the fuel pump and it ran for a bit then stopped again. i changed the pump and now thinking maybe pump is wrong way round. tried both ways and still nothing. has anyone got a picture or diagram showing the fuel direction of the system. i also need to check the tank is clear so was going to run an airline back to the tank. any help would be much appreciated

When you say fuel pump, you mean the 12v inline electric lift pump, rather than the injector pump?

If so, it should be easy enough to trace the pipework from the tank to the filter and the pump.

Then you'll need to bleed the injector pipes by loosening the nuts on top of the injectors.

and check there are no banjo gauzes blocked in the system .... notoriously elusive to find and block so easily

Thanks bud yes 12v pump. Tracing back looks like comes from bottom of fuel tank to the pump then to filter and back to the injector pump. I put a bore scope down the tank and looks pretty dirty in there. Wondering how to clean it. Looks like seat and arms need to come off to get to it. Probably best start at the beginning? When I changed the pump no fuel came gushing out from the tank. I could put an airline on but the rubbish would just stay there. Any thoughts?

When I fitted the pump? Maybe but don’t remember on this forum but did post on a fb group. Yes 12v pump

a banjo bolt is a 90 deg. fitting in a line

filters are sometimes one of these types

or around the bolt body inside the banjo itself

can't find a pic of one in situ
they're pigs to find and block very easily

you may also have a filter on the tank outlet - in the tank ... some pix would help
my vibe roller has a filter in the tank that screws into the tank base and the fuel line then screws into that
could drain the tank and try to hoover out as much as poss., if it's that bad

I would take outlet pipe off 12v pump and turn ignition on. If you don't see plenty of fuel coming out. The problem is the tank.
I don't think the pump is gravity fed

I’ve checked that now but still no go. I’m getting fuel now at the pump so maybe blockage further on. Thanks bud
