JCB Manual Quick Hitch

Good Morning/Evening fellow members
I have come across your site while searching for information on a
JCB Quick Hitch I recently purchased at auction in Australia
Having no previous experience in manual hitches I cannot work
out how to even open the locking jaw!
The hitch will be fitted to an excavator (hopefully) and I’m hoping someone can advise
me how the jaw opens.
