Jcb 803 servo problems

Hello got a 1995 jcb 803 and it’s acting strange on the servo controls for example if I go to lift the main boom it’s is slow to respond then when I let go of the lever it’s slow to stop moving but other times it can be jumpy and fast the dipper is jumpy at times but mostly steady and responsive machine has plenty of power when digging also when lifting main boom and it reaches the top of its travel it will strain the engine a lot like a relief valve isn’t adjusted right it would stall if was held long enough with not enough revs any ideas anyone ?

could be a separate item/cannister or maybe built into the servo solenoid control block? not a very big filter ... Aiden @CPS is the man who'd know, or 'praps James @Shovelhands .... assuming it has a filter of course ... worth a look initially
