Hi all , just a quick question, i Have a 2015, JCB 8014 CTS, just doing an oil and filter change, i am in France and finding good info (and quality parts) is a bit troublesome,
could anyone just tell me what engine oil is best, i know its 15W-40, but do i need synthetic, semi-synthetic , mineral, multigrade etc etc ?
i know i am probably over thinking this, i also imagine i will need an oil drain plug washer/gasket if anyone can reccomend the correct one ?
Thanks in advance
Dean

Whatever 15-40 you can get will be fine, those engines are not oil fussy.

Just put the drain bung back in it’ll be fine.

cheers mate just read people saying avoid mineral but they seem pretty sturdy engines, i am in a hot climate most of the time so not much cold start worries

Smith & Allen are a really good source of lubes ... have bought all my greases from them for years.
used to buy my Rimula direct from a Shell supplier, by the barrel, when I was operating my biz - ran all my cranes, FLTs, trucks and cars/vehicles on it ... IMHDO it's the best there is
my 'demand' is not so great these days and buying from their ebay listings is cheaper than direct from their website - go figure?:rolleyes:
's the only thing I will put in the Deutz in my Hydrema
