JCB 8008

Hello,
I currently use a SWB transit custom to move a 0.6 ton Micro digger about, not regularly just occasionally, has anyone put a JCB 8008 in a SWB Transit custom, its
within the weight limit but not sure on dimensions.

My Komatsu PC02 goes in ok, i thought these were big for a micro, 8008 must be quite a bit bigger.

I mean, I’ve seen them in the back of vans but wouldn’t do it myself. 8x4 plant trailers aren’t expensive and gives you somewhere for extra buckets etc.

Trailers are not expensive but this is a machine that I move probably 6 times a year, don't want a trailer sitting about and room is limited.
Moving the PC02 is easy in the van and legal, just thinking about a slightly heavier machine.

maybe if it has a foldable roll frame but rear axle weight would be over limit i would think.

For 6 moves, hire a trailer? Drop a mate a few quid and borrow one? I can’t imagine it does the van any good but each to their own

I can fit my e10 in an ifor gd64 with cage sides. I can get the 8010 in but have to hang the arm over the tail gate.

Picked it up last night and loaded ok, 5 minutes to remove seat but went in easily.
