JCB 1T dumper possibly electrical fault

Hello! Been searching through the forum for some help but cant seem to find anything that helps with the specific problem

I picked up a 2015 1T JCB dumper at the auction last week and most seems ok - starts, drives, tips all fine but appears to have no glow plug or lift pump when notching the key over along with no lights on the dash.

Hoping someone may have had the same problem along with a solution! Many thanks in advance, and it's been great learning having read through the forum trying to find a fix!

On a 2015 it may well be a terex/mecalac dumper painted yellow. May help on your search for an answer

Hi mate, thankyou for your reply! Yes I've been searching for terex stuff as well but still struggling! I'm sure it's probably something simple but I've always struggled a bit with electrics and can see this being a long drawn process if left to my own devices

I think the preheat has a timer relay and a control relay.

I've replaced the timer relay and swapped relays around so that even if there were a couple of bad ones at some point the plugs would have a good one. Could it be a possibility that all relays have gone bad?

depends on how 'damp' the environment is that they live in -- but possible

Can we have photos of the ignition switch?

I ordered a new ignition a few days ago so will try that tomorrow when it comes in and if no good will try all the relays.

@Mick-the-fitter il put some photos up tomorrow when I'm with the machine, fingers crossed it could be the ignition as a new one should be coming in tomorrow!
