I have a JCB 165 that the engine was just reinstalled after 2 years, in storage I am looking for a picture of the starter wires connection and where the neg battery connects to the engine.

there can't be many 'computations'/combinations of the wiring to the starter .. possibly one or two, maybe three, leads to/from the starter's solenoid, (one of which will need to go to the alternator's output) and a HD lead from the battery's positive.
The earth needs to go to a good sturdy point on the engine block (and also to the same on the chassis) .... there may also be an earth to the starter body required, depending on the starter type
