International b275

I went to pick up a little project today from a local farm a international b275 it's similar to the first tractor my old man ever drove so he's keen to restore one though it looks like it needs quite a bit of work.

That was out initial impression there is one dent in the bonnet near the bottom that will tap out. Unfortunately that's where the good stuff ends the breaks are seized on the clutch is worn out and the bottom has rotted out the exhaust manifold .

The engine wouldn't turn with a socket on the crank so I've dropped some oil into the cylinders and hope it makes a difference.

The first priority is to get some wheels on the front of it so we can push it down the bottom of the shed where it can live for a bit while it's stripped down we tried to lift it on the pallet truck to slide it down but it's too front heavy which is a pity it's how the Fergie got down there

let it soak for a while ,take starter motor off and try a bar in on the teeth if it wont move then it tear down time

We got a bit of a session on the b250 today it's definitely in more pieces than it was before

Rotten mudgards off and we pulled the break housings so at least it'll roll it makes it much easier to get into dry storage

Pulled the head and it was a bit moist in no.4 a bit of a tap on the pistons with a bar on the crank and the engine freed up though it looks like something has been in cylinder no 4

Tidied up and shoved into the shed with all the bits it can sit there out the way so we can work on it at our leasure
