Those days are long gone, the eldest is 13 and he gets a lot more freedom than the girls but still need to know where he is going and get him back before dark or not out after dinner. When I was his age there wasn't any sort of restrictions and I know he isn't too happy about his restrictions but besides all the robberies/muggings there seems to be people getting stabbed every few weeks

Yes it's crap now just so glad I bit the bullet and moved out of town 15 years ago.
Oldest is driving so just started going out on his tod up into the hills .
Got live 360 which helps a bit

Next one down hasn't got a phone but he's got 70 acres to roam...often disappears with a backpack and fishing rod or RC car for a few hours
