Htd 5 tracking issue

Assuming it's the track motor but got a loud grinding noise and track just stopped, managed to free it up moving back and forward to get it out of the way, but grinding noise and won't go back ward more than 300mm before locking up. Track is fairly loose

planetaries, sun or cage has quit, at a guess

Try it with the track off! Can you get the reduction hubs apart?

I'll be back at there Wednesday but I did lift the side up, so the track was off the ground but didn't really make any difference.

100% on the planetAries. Drop the cover plate off, get the shrapnel out and you’ll be able to move it.
