Should be a decent wee digger, flow will be about 40lpm, al depends on what your planning on running

The Zx27 is a great little machine. The newer 27U isn't so good. Shame really, the older ones were great

The one I am interested in is zx27u-3 2015,is this not a good machine,was the older ones better,shud l stay clear,

Are you sure its a ZX27u? It will either be a ZX27 or a ZX26U. The 27 will be a better digger than the 26

Yeah the Zx27 was standard counterweight and a good machine- not sure why they stopped making it really rather than all this “U” tosh.

They made a 27u for a short time think it had a sliding door it's definitely looks a different cab to the 26u

Well dealer has it down as zx27u-3, on the machine its zaxis zx27,it has standard counterweight, is the u for zero swing machines.

Yes the ZX27 is a standard counter weight machine.
U is a zero tail.

As said should be a good machine.
Hitachi would be the best selling machine here in Ireland, never seam to be much bother

Having just googled it, Hitatchi did make a 27U.... who knew?

But the 2nd picture is the one I'm saying is a really good machine. Traditional counterweight, good size cab, smooth hydraulics, and Hitatchi's reliability make it a great machine.
The U however has a horrible cab, jerky hydraulics, less reach and just doesn't live up to its predecessors.

Never knew there was a zx27u, must of been a zero swing version of a zx25?

Cheers for the help,yes it's the second picture,going too look at it Sunday,wouldn't even consider a zero radis machine.i do drive a kubota 71-3,good enough machine,theres no hitch on this digger,thinking of a quick hitch for it,what is a good type for it,thinking about using the buckets backways on it,also a thumb if I can get one for it.

I can't tell you which ones best but I can tell you without a doubt spring hitches are junk
They come with the wear already built in and are a pain to use especially putting a breaker on and off
Obviously if you can stretch to it hydraulic is great and encourages you to change buckets instead of abusing whatever you have on

Wedge type hitch would be fine on that machine if fully hydraulic a stretch too far. Hardford wedgelock are highly recommended.
