Hi everyone I’m new to this forum,

I have a Hitatchi KX008-3 and the boom & dipper arm pin holes are worn oval, I’m after having it refurbished if possible, I’m in the north west uk
Any help would be appreciated

Welcome mate. On a machine that size, just take the boom and arm off and any local machine shop worth their salt will be able to pop it on their mill, bore it out and turn some oversized bushes to suit.

First, are you sure the bores are Worn and not just the bushes? I do pins and bushes on a regular basis, and the number of times our drivershave said it’s through to the bore, and it’s turned out we’ve just caught it in time is nobodies business. Well yours, obviously because I’ve made it so. Have a good look, as the bushes are cheap enough from several aftermarket suppliers.
