If you are rich and picky enough, what rolls off the luxury car brands' production lines does not hold up. Just as there are tailor-made suits, there is a whole forest of craftsmen who gild, modify and upgrade their favorite toys for the very richest.

"Graham" presents itself only by first name. He does not want to give his full name or where he lives because he builds the cars in the workshop at home on the farm outside Edinburgh in Scotland.

He says that he started his career as a project manager in the construction industry, but quit his job a few years ago as the hobby paid enough to make a good living from it.
- People usually call and say what they want with the car and how their lives are, and then we take it from there, the Scot says on the phone.
