Heater

Its that time of year again where its nice to warm the workshop a bit , i have a diesel heater at yard but sometimes do bits and pieces on a night in the shed at home, diesel heater i have at yard is way too noisy and big for the shed at home which is 8m x 8m - any suggestions for a space that big thats fairly quiet ?

have a look at the Ying tong diesel heaters that got suggested in my tome a while back ... Josh has one in his camper conversion and says it's excellent

I keep meaning to put 1 in the transit for drying wet gear.
Ventilation would be needed too though

I've been using the webasto diesel heater in my defender this week and it's amazing, like a furnace
Makes a fair bit of noise though, not silly loud but sounds like a mini jet
Think there are Facebook groups about the Chinese diesel heaters, would probably be a good place for a steer on suitable ones

have had a few cranes over the years with Webasto,s in the top cabs .. hateful things ... always a PITA ... little gas burners usually replaced them, with a bottle behind the cab !
but bear in mind I am talking about 30+ yr old tech ..... dare say the modern heaters are in a different league now

They duct exhaust out. Clean air in for burning. No need for other ventilation. 2 holes

I think you need a bit of airflow if drying stuff to stop moisture build up

Yes for that it'd be dripping in condensation otherwise

Flettner on the roof We fit them as standard.. make hella difference.
We carry Kero waste which can stink , and they help suck it out rather than dragging it into the cab.
