I saw one on the road just the other day, being driven very carefully, still a timeless design.

I bought a few Classic Tractor magazines from 2001 on ebay last month, bloody hell that's made me want a time machine and a bag of cash! Muir Hills for a couple of grand, MF 35s for a few hundred, Little Grey fergies and handy Internationals for 500 quid, fresh 3000 series masseys for 5 or 6k, it's enough to make a grown man cry 😆 🤣

Right now you'd be better just going back to last week and buying a field full of portacabins 😖😖

Jokes aside has some ag stuff gone daft? Scratty 35s for 6k and stuff? The early retirement brigade has a lot to answer for...💥

Professional farmers struggling to make a living and those playing at it can spend fortunes on a plaything

Some prices have definitely started to turn down, and for 6k a 35 would need to be really good in my opinion. Personally I'd only spend half that, but I'm only into reasonably presentable, usable stuff. My latest buy was an mf 203 Industrial, same age/ engine as a 35, with a few extras, and I only paid £1350 for it!

Having said that, at the last cheffins vintage sale some prices seemed to be through the roof!

People are certainly paying a fortune for certain playthings, and yes, how farmers make it pay with the price of modern tractors 🤯
