Does your kinghitter have back shift on it? Farmer friend had one and it would only sideshift which meant faffing around with tractor position if the post drifted on a rock or root.
I had a fairly nice Wrag outfit on my old Same which would back shift and sideshift but working on my own I'd take the digger unit as easier in and out plus digger was always there anyway so made sense that It did the whole job rather than bringing another machine- rock spike was ace though

It had been modified with bits of a buck rake I think could back shift it 200mm or so don’t have it anymore though

suppose I thought maybe a used breaker would be more common or easy bought. But yes a mast would be probably better.

Guess it depends if you have use for a breaker too. Make sense to have multiple purpose if poss- unless you have lots of fencing to do...
