Grass grid

Seen these down someone's yard today about the right amount for what I need. Concrete grids 600 x 400 100mm thick. I was planning to use plastic as thought thry would be less noticeable. 3 pallets and about 6m2 a pallet. What's the right money he's given me a price for the lot. Pros and cons versus plastic

These are very hard wearing but never really hide as well as the plastic grids. Both need a similar amount of sub base and prep work so not much in it really if you are looking for a saving. I'd see what it would cost in plastic and go in with an offer half that. 2nd hand materials aren't really worth much to be honest, its lucky he has enough for your job but it could be a long time before another man comes along only needing a small quantity

Yeh i think the bulk of these will kill it. Like you say I think the plastic ones will hide a lot easier. It did seem a good price so made me think

Plastic works out at around £11.50 m2 supplied

Those concrete ones dont look that fun to lay

Just say I thought that too! How much are conc normally per m2 I reckon these are cheap but as say above think I'll go with pvc
