We have a harlequin 5kL plastic fuel depot that's started letting fuel into the bund. Has anyone successfully been able to repair on if these tanks ?

Are you sure it's the tank it doesn't take much of a weep to fill the bund over time

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
if it's a crack I have heard stories of a bar of ordinary hand soap rubbed well into the crack effects a reasonable temporary repair (stops it leaking for a while) .. unusual for a bunded one to spring a leak ?

If you can find the crack then hard soap rubbed in will stop it for now. Probably time for a new tank though.

Seen dozens of plastic inner tanks split, all makes. would have thought the inner is relatively well shielded from the effects of UV on them ... surprised at your statement, but you of all ppl would know
's why I built my black shed to incorporate our 1600 lt. bunded job inside it in the dark

Seen lots of failed inners, suspect quality control and heat from sun perhaps coupled with the aromatics from Kero?

We took the top off it and sucked 720L out of the bund. The weird thing is there was a puddle of diesel on top of the inner tank so it's suspect of being overfilled and run out the top.
The filling pipe is down in the side door with a hose up into the tank .
We've checked all the fittings and hoses and all appear good. It is a 2009 tank so will see what develops. Will get a couple thousand litres in it and see what happens

Some delivery drivers are dicks! Only one way a puddle could get on top? How much is left in the inner tank?

We noticed about a month ago the door section was bulging out, at first thought it had been hit by something but on closer inspection it was being forced out by the weight of liquid in the bund area. So we've been running it down and the inner tank was empty and we sucked 720 litres out the bund today. We can't see anything obvious, we had the top off and inner tank out but looks ok and the diesel on the top of it kinda makes us think the driver overfilled it last time and never said. There's now 720L in it.

if the inner was empty I'd expect at least some of the bund's contents to have found its way back in if that is where it came from ... can't imagine it's done the inner's connections a lot of good, floating about in 720 litres either

All the pipework is in and out the top but you're right it's not ideal for it.

My uncle got diesell delivered a few years ago. About a week later I went to fill the tractor up and the tank was empty. Our first thought was some bugger had stolen it but we discovered that the delivery driver had put it all in the bund
