I have one on my 3ton Kubota and rate it very highly. Wished I had gone hydraulic rather than manual.
After I had the Engcon fitted and started using the Scandinavian style buckets it was taken off and it is not used as often. But when it comes to tree and hedge clearance it is straight back on!!

Not sure about that mate. Have always used a proper grapple. Can’t imagine doing what I do and messing about trying to pin stuff against the bucket.our man @doobin is the man on thumbs

Basic system on my digger means I don’t have another spare service to run a grab. If I had a 6 ton plus then I would be happy to go all singing and dancing!!

buy your self a cheap Kins 604 or 5 Shaun and put some longer lines on it .... could at least get 180 deg.s out of it on a 6 x 2 diverter Boyo

Don't complain - suggest what's better
I run a Kinshoffer grab on my small walkers under the tilty, but powered off the breaker circuit as not enough juice through the head for it to work efficiently. Still get 180 degrees rotation each way, so works pretty well. Not as good as continuous rotation, but good enough.
Assuming you are powering your tilty from you breaker circuit and it is two way you can just connect straight up. As long as you make sure it is piped so the bucket closes when you operate the tilty it will work fine. Just need to have bucket closed when tilt rotating or the grab will work at the same time and everything will go slow. If you have connected up the other way the jaws will open when you operate the tilty, which is a pain.
