Excavator, hard starting, unstable low idling, can’t throttle up, keeps running after removing the starter key…

Well could it be that when putting the pump back in I didn’t set the cable as it was and was in contact with the pump while the oil was heating up, causing the cable failure?

I will try to check that also.

nah ... used to have teleflex cables on my cranes for throttles and they used to get incredibly hot in their environment

If I remember I think on one part of it, it seemed like it was twisted. Will upload a picture of it when I get to it.

It has developed motor and cable if that brakes at motor end the throttle can’t do full or idle, follow the cables back you will find what looks like a wiper motor
