Unless the image is flipped, then I think the injector pump is the wrong side for a Perkins ?

On closer inspection, I can read Bosch on the filter, so imagine not flipped.

If I had to guess, I’d say Yanmar, or Yan copy, but that just a guess. I’ve got a Yanmar in a compressor, but I imagine it’s a fair bit smaller? I will have a look tomorrow

I'd say with fair certainty that the tractor is a Siromer, who the importer of such items is about 5 mins drive from base. We even own an older version, engine is okay but very crude in manufacture, cant say it has ever let us down though! What bits or info do you require? The engine is chinese for sure, as to what it is a copy of I've no idea. Never needed to look as it came with a box full of spares including headgasket, which I hope I'll never need.

Both my Perkins have the injector pump on the LHS. (1004 & 3.152)

Yeah Siromer/Jinma are the same tractor infact they enter the Siromer importer sometimes badged as such. The parts manual I have also says Jinma. We have a 254, decent enough for what it does (grades a sand arena). But I ain’t swapping my Deere for one anytime soon! Mind you they don’t do a 165hp version yet.

Yes, you are correct, but the 3.152 engine is an older design, which has a rotary CAV type pump I think, which is indeed on the left. The little Perkins engines I am thinking of have a different pump design, one similar to Kubota/Yanmar and the are on the opposite side, hence my post, but I should have been more specific.

Anyway, insignificant now, as it’s been established that it’s a Chinmar

You’re thinking of the 100, 400 and 700 series, with the Zexel cartridge pump. They’re all on the right. Anything Perkins 1000, 1100 and 1200 series with a rotary or in-line pump, pump is on the left.
