Engcon EC02 through ports.

Hitch couplers are the other end. Can only see 4 banjos the other side of the slew- two to the hitch and two to the aux ports.

Looks like only P and T have been used. Any ideas?

That’s the odd bit. Can only undo one aux coupling with the way the rotation is currently. That goes to p. Haven’t taken the plugs out of a or b.

what is this? assume those are the hitch feed/return?
so you can't rotate the lower half currently?
can you push the poppet in on the QC to see if you get any air flow from t'other end?
P & T would seem to indicate a single acting circuit set up ?????
where as A & B would be more likely associated with a dual acting circuit?
wonder if A & B are a duplication of/alternate for the ports at the other end being used for the hitch ?

I did wonder this.

It’s idle curiosity really, I’ve already decided not to bother plumbing it in. With the top hitch plus engcon the stack height would be horrible, I’d sooner take the engcon off and fit a nice grab with optimised geometry and rotator.

It’s going on one of my kx027-4’s
hopefully I hate it or it’s going to get expensive adding some to other sizes in the fleet!

Same as last time @Vinpetrol , Except top hitch is hydraulic now

John A done a cracking job nothing was a issue, Just a pity engcon let his good work down.

Fitted and very happy, @Nasco going over and above again to sort it and solve a small issue with the machine to get it all up and running
so far seems fun and after an hour of playing I seem to have picked it up (never even sat in a machine with one on before this) so could be an expensive time coming up!

Is that in the tilt mechanism? Had to shim mine a bit there too. No idea why the previous owner didn’t over 3000 hours!

Its the shims for the top hitch bracket.

Can only guess when assembling unit they put shims in then walked away and they dropped down then they forgot they had put them in so added more?

Obviously pre sign of checks was forgotten about surely the extra shims should had been spotted? Also unit has to be returned for a full re spray due to crap paint finish!
