Dumper service oils?

Are hydraulic systems sensitive to what oil is used or can I top up the dumper with bobcat oil?
Are Track drives sensitive to what gear oil is used? I may have ep 80/90 in the shed.
The manual specifies iso hv32 viscosity index 170 for the hydraulic oil and ep220 viscosity index 154 for the track drives.
There is not mention on how to change oil on the track drives but YouTube say's to get one hole at 12 o'clock and fill to the lower one?

leave the 80/90 in the shed and get some ep220 ...... huge difference in specs

Track motors generally have a drain and fill hole. Drain at the lowest point in put plug back in. then fill, till oil comes out of the fill hole

that's the way I'd have it set up too ... drain at six o'clock and then fill level plug gets filled 'til it over flows ..... but his book says drain at 12 o'clock, which'd alter the fill level, unless the the holes are at 90 to each other - 3 / 9 and 6 / 12 o'clock ?? ... I'd expect a filler to be more like at 10/2 o'clock though, with the drain at six ... any chance of a pic @Russell ?

Question is what are a the dumper.

Certian tracked dumpers (particularly komatsu) need higher grade oil than 80/90

well drain it at six o'clock and can fill with it in same position ... fill hole will either be at 3 or 9 o'clock.... fill until it comes out the filling hole and the level will be correct .... same as a diff .. fill 'til it comes out the hole

can't see an SAE number on the Bobcat label ... I'd be inclined to get some as specified at SAE32 ... got a 45 drum here an' a few 20 cans, but not a lot of good to you, sadly .... or me much .. Drema's on 46 bio and me other machines don't seem to use/lose much at all
