Duckling wanted. 6 - 7 ton

HI all,

On the look out for a small rubber duck in the 6 to 7 ton range. Anyone know of anything? Something like the wacker 6503 etc.

Would love a wacker EW65 but to much to stretch id imagine

If you know of anything let me know please.

based on what experience? I had a Doosan 55w for 3 years was a great little duck, only thing that let it down was that in the hire game it was been compared to 7/8 ton ducks from the likes of komatsu,wacker neuson, takeuchi.

Over the three years only problems had with it was safety lever micro switch and electric control valve for the heater.

I've only had half an hour in one with a tilty on the end of it, but made it seriously wobbly ... found the transmission was either on or off and a bit tight in the cab ... levers were smooth though .... in the right work and time in the seat, as a small tool, it'd prob.s be a tidy weapon for tight worksites, but it was very light on its feet

The cab was a bit tight, it’s the same on all small machines tight cabs I guess. We only ever had a tilting ditching bucket for ours no encon. Anyone that’s planning on putting a encon on a duck should really be ordering the shortest stick possible to help with the balance of the tilty’s weight. We had a 2 axle ifor trailer attached to the duck it was used for running out pipes, kerbs, mono blocks, sand and stone. It was up in Dundee working along the water front for near on two years. Was a really tidy wee set up, wish I had more photos of it. Was only ever up to service it a few times.

if it isn't/wasn't an orange turd it'd be quite a tool - pretty well tooled up for £5k
you'd certainly give one more than a passing glance, for sure
what sort of weight is it? - any in the UK?

Surely it's a bit pointless at that size. Can't see it being much faster than tracks looks like it would be pretty unstable and not difficult to transport that size anyway

I don't think so it was to ship direct from China I saw it on a fb advert and sent them a enquiry just to see what the score was with them
