First new hitachi for Currie contractors. Been a few colour changes the last year. Ready to tackle a a major programme of roads over hauls this summer.

Haven't seen a lot of new Hitachi's lately, are they out of favour?
I think colour choice is regional.
Loads of Hitachi around here. Not a huge amount of Kubota or taekuchi and very little Hyundai or doosan.
Hitachi have started their own plant hire firm and they where in the office being incredibly annoying the other day. And repeated phone calls. Had to tell him to do one in the end.
Our most hired machine is <2t which they don't have on their fleet. And he couldn't grasp how they can't compete with local depots on transport cost. One local company is F.O.C if they have a lorry passing. Compared to £200 each way for synergy plant hire.
