DPF filter issues

Hi anyone had any experience in cleaning DPF filters ?
Been quoted £17,000 exchange + fitting @ £1700 and a £5000 surcharge for a unit on a Komatsu HM400-3 dumper. Adds a lot to the running costs if you go genuine at the recommended 4500 hrs.
Seen lots of videos using chemicals and jet washing but didn't want to damage the unit.

There is a few companies that specialise in DPF cleaning, would be worth a shot. Failing that MAP it out

If the DPF filter is able to be separated from the end plates and you can gain access to the honeycomb filter structure then cleaning is a doddle and quite successful. You can soak overnight in Wynn's DPF cleaner, then set to carefully with a hot wash and blast the crud (ash) out of the filter working from both directions till the water runs clean. Dry out with compressed air and re-fit. You'll need access to a laptop that can reset the DPF service interval or "Ash Loading" this will set the counter back to zero. Cause even though the differential pressure sensors are reading very similar pressures indicating no restriction the computer looks at the Ash loading value from memory and runs with that effectively.

Been looking on Youtube and found an interesting Aussie guy who did some tests with different cleaners such as Wynns , pool acid, Coca Cola
.
Looks like it comes apart ok , but reading Komatsu literature its a catalysed DPF for passive Regen so don't want to damage the units coating. At the money they are asking going to try cleaning one as got several to do. Usually most diagnostics and resets can be done via dashboard on Komatsu machines, think they may use a type of Cummins Insite software for the engine ?
With Adblue, DOC and DPF on the latest machines lots to go wrong and keep working:(
