Travel to Guildford yesterday to drop of a couple of screener for a customer this morning, load with a different one to take to Derby then going to Eastbourne to collect a 7 meter one to take back home, got tipped at 7.30 this morning only to be told the Eastbourne one won’t be ready till tomorrow if at all so been sat in a lay-by on the A3 for 2 hrs waiting for a phone call to tell me which way to go on the M25 north or south
At least I’ve got a bit of internet and my TV

Hats off to anyone who drives for a living,I simply couldn't do it (not these days) the logistics of haulage are a nightmare,I can regular go a full week without leaving here not been unusual for me to stay home for a full fortnight.

They have started the M27 "smart motorway" conversion. Well, got as far as painting some stuff on the tarmac, but signs say they have started. No plant yet, but about 4 years work I think.
